activity1.4 Navigational Graphics

In a small group visit a retail website and take a careful look at the navigation bar and any navigation buttons used.

Discuss where the navigation bar is positioned. Is it clear to use? How do the subsections relate to the main sections? How has the designer used colour to help make the navigation bar easy to use?

Find out how large these navigation bars are both in terms of actual file size and physical dimensions. How does the site make use of other navigation buttons? What is the intended purpose and audience for these graphics?

How suitable are the buttons and the navigation bar for their purpose? Are they appropriate for the intended audience? Is the graphic a vector or a bitmap image?

Save a screenshot of the navigation bar and some buttons to your Process folder.
