When designing buttons for a website, it is important that they are not random but fit the overall house style of your website. Try to use colours that compliment or reflect the colours used in the rest of the site (See Section 2). It is a good idea to use the same basic shape and format or style as a template for the buttons so they all have a visual link.

Although each is very different, these buttons from all use the font style and the same pink and black colour scheme used to brand the site.


Although the buttons below from the Early Learning Centre are in different colours, they link visually because they use the same shape and layout.

These buttons from Compare the Market all follow the same style; a large white icon with the blue and green colours of the company logo.
